If you like to have a cocktail every now and then, keep your cash at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your purse, your billfold, and keep all money, charge cards and checks out of the casino. Only take whatever money you anticipate to spend on drinks, tipping and whatever pocket change you expect to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Realistic more like. You could have a profit following a inebriated evening out with your acquaintances and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long roll at a hot craps game. Hang on to that story because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink and gamble. The pair just do not go well together.
Leaving your moolah out of the casino is a tiny bit drastic, but precautionary actions for drastic actions is a requirement. If you play to succeed, then do not drink and bet. If you can afford to be wasteful with your cash nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous booze your stomach can handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and chequebooks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your dead drunk self squanders all the cash!
Permit me to carry this one step more. do not drink alcohol and then hop on to the internet to gamble in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my condominium, however seeing that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.
How come? Although I do not drink alcohol a lot, once I drink, it’s definitely adequate to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not wager at the same time. When mixed, both create a decimating, and expensive, drink.
