If you like to have a drink from time to time, keep your money at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks at home. Only take whatever money you intend to use on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You might experience a win following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to catch a long toss at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that account considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you always drink and gamble. The two simply do not go well together.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel might be a little bit excessive, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is necessary. If you play to profit, then do not drink and play. If you can afford to toss away your assets without a worry, then drink all the gratuitous alcohol you are able to handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and cheques to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your dead drunk brain squanders all the cash!
