If you enjoy having a a beer every now and then, keep your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your handbag, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Pack whatever cash you intend to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you anticipate to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Realistic more like. You could have a win after a boozy evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hook a long roll at a on fire craps table. Keep that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink and bet. These activities simply do not mix.
Keeping your money back at the hotel is a little bit dramatic, but preventative measures for dramatic actions is necessary. If you wager to win, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you like to be wasteful with your cash without a worry, then drink all the gratis beer you are able to handle, but do not carry credit cards and checks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your hooched up self throws away everything!
Allow me to take this 1 step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump online to wager in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my apartment, but seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.
Why? Despite the fact that I do not drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it is definitely enough to blur my better judgment. I bet, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and costly, drink.
